Platform Engineer

• Design, build, maintain and primarily operate scalable streaming and batch data pipelines, with a strong focus on maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of existing pipelines.
• Work with AWS services, including Redshift, EMR and ECS, to support data processing and analytics workloads.
• Develop and maintain data workflows using Python and SQL.
• Orchestrate and monitor pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Break down high-level system designs into well-defined, deliverable tasks with realistic estimates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and distributed environment across the US and Europe.
• Drive automation, observability and monitoring to improve reliability, performance and operational efficiency.
• Support knowledge transfer and ownership handover as part of the planned transition to the consuming team.

Android Engineer

• Design and build core SDK and library features used by Speedtest clients and third-party partners
• Develop network testing functionality using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform
• Build and maintain performance-critical components using C++
• Maintain and support legacy SDK products built in Java
• Design clean, well-structured and easy-to-use APIs for both SDK and application use
• Work close to Android platforms, device hardware and, in some cases, embedded environments
• Ensure high levels of reliability, flexibility, portability and code reuse
• Implement analytics and telemetry to monitor performance and behavior in production
• Write unit, integration, load and stress tests
• Debug and troubleshoot complex, multi-layer and multi-platform issues
• Collaborate on architecture and technical decisions across SDK, frontend, backend and distributed server teams
• Contribute to documentation, developer support and long-term maintenance of SDKs
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Software Engineer – Android, SDK, Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, C++

Full-stack Engineer

• Hands-on engineering (30–40%)
• Build small tools, sample apps, packaging automation, and targeted patches to Microsoft SDKs/CI workflows that accelerate partner onboarding.
• Technical guidance for elite partners
• Work directly with senior engineers at leading AI and ISV companies to unblock their Windows app builds, packaging, publishing, OAuth flows, desktop features, and performance.
• Windows application packaging and migration
• Package PWAs, support WebView2/desktop hybrid architectures, assist app migrations from Xbox to Windows, and help partners adopt MSIX/unpackaged patterns.
• Ecosystem content and best practices
• Ghost-write technical guides and internal artifacts for Microsoft teams based on lessons learned (docs, engineering playbooks, reference implementations).

Senior Software Engineer – Desktop/C#

Engineer

• Analyze and process Avid AXF exports (assignments, stories, clips, media objects).
• Extract, validate, and normalize Avid metadata using Python-based workflows.
• Map Avid metadata to Mimir MAM schemas and generate compliant JSON sidecar files.
• Validate media readiness across Avid, DIVA, and AWS S3, including checksum and object verification.
• Support ingest testing into Mimir MAM and validation of media presence in GCS.
• Enhance and maintain Python workflows for metadata transformation, validation, and migration orchestration.
• Identify and resolve metadata inconsistencies, legacy formatting issues, or corrupted exports.
• Produce technical documentation and participate in validation and acceptance testing cycles.
