About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the overall product line strategy as well as tactical execution to meet corporate objectives.
  • Manages cross-functionally to support all aspects of the product line inclusive of operations, sourcing, marketing, sales, engineering and other business functions.
  • Coordinates market research to evaluate product requirements and identify enhancements to current features and functionality.
  • Designs and implements marketing strategies, including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, and future development plans, while overseeing the product's life cycle.
  • Advises senior management on product development strategies, providing insights into market and industry trends, customer needs, and product performance to guide decision-making.
  • Attends leadership meetings, collaborating with other departments to align product strategies with overall business goals and address cross-functional challenges.
  • Defines project terms for new product initiatives, including product scope, deliverables, resource allocation, and timelines, to ensure clarity and focus in project execution.
  • Implements product management strategies, overseeing the full product lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring product-market fit and profitability.
  • Maintains market lead-time requirements, provides guidance on short-term and long-term capacity planning by forecasting demand and working closely with Operations.
  • Ensures compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout the product development process, minimizing risks and ensuring quality control.
  • Hires, trains, and develops new product management team members, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring that staff members have the necessary skills and resources for success.
  • Educates and mentors team members, providing coaching on product development best practices, strategic thinking, and industry trends to enhance their professional growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
  • Specialized Degree: Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or like fields.
  • Years of Experience: 5-7 Years
  • Preferred Education & Experience Specialized Degree: Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or like fields.
  • Licenses/Certificates: Certification in product management or a related field (e.g., Certified Product Manager (CPM), PMP)
  • Years of Experience: 8-11 Years
