About the role
- Directs and coordinates fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines and systems
- Ensures quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process
- Oversees installation, operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water and steam systems
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in mechanical design and fabrication processes
- Experience with industry standards and quality control practices
- Ability to evaluate and improve mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
