About the role
- Your intern assignment is generally 10-12 weeks, and co-op assignment is generally 16-18 weeks and will include an assigned project and opportunities to present your work.
- You will also collaborate on other exciting projects and work with talented peers and inspirational leaders, many of whom began as interns and co-ops themselves.
- You will be provided a robust developmental experience through an immersive onboarding and offboarding experience, assigned a mentor, networking opportunities, organized events, activities, and community service /volunteer initiatives.

- Conduct research, analyze data, and present findings to support engineering projects.
- Support design engineers with testing and certification of new product.
- Assist in updating and creating engineering documentation, standard operating procedures, process flow diagrams, verification of Bill of Materials and uploading them to various file repositories.
- Utilize CAD software to create or revise parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings, layouts as needed for project work.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate project progress and results.
- Engage with cross-functional teams including technicians, CMs, quality, and safety to drive project success.
- Support internal and external communication efforts related to engineering projects and initiatives.
- Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another closely related field.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of Solidworks (CAD) and if not a Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA) the ability to acquire it in a reasonable amount of time.
- Use of Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, Etc.)
