About the role
- Participate in structured rotational assignments across multiple sales functions to develop a comprehensive understanding of Southwire’s commercial operations
- Support the execution of sales plans and strategies within assigned regions, channels, or technical product categories
- Collaborate with internal sales teams, channel partners, and external representatives to strengthen customer engagement and drive revenue growth
- Assist in analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and improved forecasting
- Contribute to proposal development, customer solutions, and product recommendations, including coordination with engineering or technical resources where needed
- Support CRM and order management processes by documenting customer interactions, entering data, and maintaining accurate sales records
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and training engagements to better understand customer needs and communicate value-added solutions
- Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to enhance partner and customer engagement across assigned territories
- Engage cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with product availability and market positioning
- Demonstrate continuous learning, collaboration, and process improvement throughout all rotational experiences, while complying with all company policies and standards
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, sales/marketing, or a related field with expected graduation of Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026
- A well-rounded academic background; preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Relevant internship experience and/or leadership in school or community organizations preferred.
