About the role

  • Your intern assignment is generally 10-12 weeks, and co-op assignment is generally 16-18 weeks and will include an assigned project and opportunities to present your work.
  • You will also collaborate on other exciting projects and work with talented peers and inspirational leaders, many of whom began as interns and co-ops themselves.
  • You will be provided a robust developmental experience through an immersive onboarding and offboarding experience, assigned a mentor, networking opportunities, organized events, activities, and community service /volunteer initiatives.
  • You will have the opportunity to impact the future of the organization, all the while being exposed to a world-class program community.
  • Finally, our rising senior interns and co-ops are considered for full-time employment opportunities.
  • Participate in investigations (initial intake, scoping, drafting interview questions, scheduling interviews, fact‑finding, etc.)
  • Draft investigation reports and executive summaries
  • Analyzing metrics from legal dashboards and creating visuals and trend reports, charts, etc. (data analytics)
  • Assist with following-up on open investigations to ensure timely closing of cases.
  • Prepare Board and senior‑leadership materials (program slides, case summaries, trend analysis)
  • Developing investigations training materials (slides, scenarios, job aids, email blasts)
  • Assist with preparing for on-site ethics and compliance visits
  • Assist with drafting and updating company policies, playbooks/SOPs

Requirements

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited law school
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Proven working experience in a team environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong organization, planning, research and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications including Word, with a strong emphasis on Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
