About the role
- Troubleshoots and resolves malfunctions to machine control systems
- Makes recommendations to improve efficiency, reliability, or quality concerns
- Designs and updates PLC, HMI, and variable frequency drive systems
- Participates in set-up and commissioning of new systems or upgrading of current systems
- Designs, develops, maintains, and modifies instrumentations and control systems
- Leads their own project from inception to implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree: Electrical Engineering or Similar
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience with PLC programming using multiple languages
- Knowledge of AC and DC circuitry, electrical concepts, SCADA systems
- Competency in Electrical CAD
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Availability on nights and weekends
