• Lead and manage the materials management team, including material handlers, planners, buyers, and supervisors, to ensure a seamless supply chain operation.
• Manage shipping and receiving operations effectively and safely.
• Develop and implement strategies for effective execution of production plans.
• Lead improvement projects for plant flow using Lean methodology.
• Collaborate with Operations Directors and Product Management to forecast demand, plan material requirements, and ensure alignment with production schedules.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs and improve supplier performance.
• Manage the resources of the plant and communicate bottlenecks preventing execution and improved customer service.
• Lead and support the professional development of the Materials Management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
