Conduct research into existing solutions and ML approaches for handling large amounts of data for Grid Operation.
Develop, implement and evaluate ML algorithms for optimization of electrical grid operation data.
Assist with the development of a business case for ML solutions identifying the value proposition for Southwire as well as end users.
Support data collection, analysis and detailed reporting of findings.
Assist in updating and creating ML documentation and AI/ML process flow diagrams.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate project progress and results.
Engage with cross-functional teams, business verticals, startups, academic institutions drive project success.
Support internal and external communication efforts related to Spark Innovation Hub projects and initiatives.
Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 2.5 GPA.
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or other relevant tools.
