About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide and support staff through the full purchasing cycle
- Ensure efficient operations, sound contract negotiations, and high-quality work products
- Coordinate daily workflow, hiring and developing team members
- Assign work equitably and uphold policies, procedures, and management directives
- Monitor, evaluate, and document staff progress and performance
- Develop and implement short- and long-term goals, work plans, and process improvements
- Identify and support staff development needs by providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance
- Assist in creating or refining internal processes and workflow guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration or related field
- 4+ years procurement or purchasing related work experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is accepted
