About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide and support staff through the full purchasing cycle
  • Ensure efficient operations, sound contract negotiations, and high-quality work products
  • Coordinate daily workflow, hiring and developing team members
  • Assign work equitably and uphold policies, procedures, and management directives
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document staff progress and performance
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term goals, work plans, and process improvements
  • Identify and support staff development needs by providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance
  • Assist in creating or refining internal processes and workflow guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration or related field
  • 4+ years procurement or purchasing related work experience
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is accepted
