About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the District’s training and talent development function
- Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning initiatives
- Track and maintain human resources data
- Gather information, prepare presentations, and facilitate discussions
- Facilitate staff training sessions
- Partner with external and internal stakeholders to implement training initiatives
- Oversight of the tuition reimbursement program
- Manage the Student Internship Program including recruitment efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Business or related field
- Five (5) years related experience in human resources and/or training and development
- Valid driver’s license
- Certification in Talent Development, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is preferred
- Public sector experience is preferred
- Experience delivering team and individual training to staff at various job levels
