About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the District’s training and talent development function
Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning initiatives
Track and maintain human resources data
Gather information, prepare presentations, and facilitate discussions
Facilitate staff training sessions
Partner with external and internal stakeholders to implement training initiatives
Oversight of the tuition reimbursement program
Manage the Student Internship Program including recruitment efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Business or related field
Five (5) years related experience in human resources and/or training and development
Valid driver’s license
Certification in Talent Development, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is preferred
Public sector experience is preferred
Experience delivering team and individual training to staff at various job levels
