About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Portfolio Managers in evaluating the creditworthiness of borrowers.
- Analyze financial statements and prepare detailed credit write-ups and recommendations for loan decisions.
- Monitor and review existing loan relationships for performance and compliance.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of commercial loan applicants.
- Assess credit risk and identify key financial, operational, and industry factors affecting repayment ability.
- Collaborate with Bankers, PMs, and Credit Officers to support credit decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in credit analysis, banking, or financial services preferred.
- Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and cash flow analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial analysis software.
