Responsible for overall management of Loan Operations Loan Maintenance team that focuses maintenance on loan products.
Processing of various loan maintenance requests, exception item processing, various reports, etc.
Assist with escalations and problem resolution; perform daily duties of the team when necessary.
Ensures training plans and procedures are kept current; ensures staff kept abreast on changes to bank policies, procedures, regulations.
Supports other areas within Loan Ops; assists with special initiatives or projects, including M&A.
Manage team of 10-12 non-exempt direct reports.
Prepares and monitors management reports communicating department effectiveness (volume, capacity, quality control, SLAs, FTE performance).
Sets departmental goals for productivity, expense control, operating efficiency and holds team accountable.
Lead staff meetings; connect regularly with other teams to build relationships and respond timely to inquiries.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations and bank guidelines.
Recruit, train, develop and retain staff; serve as subject matter expert in loan servicing; identify process/system improvements.
Assist in resolution of escalated issues and conversion related activities including data collection, data mapping, testing, production conversion, post-conversion monitoring.
Requirements
High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business (e.g Business Administration, Finance, Accounting,) or equivalent work experience preferred.
A minimum of 3 years’ related experience is required.
Management or Supervisory experience is required.
Must have in-depth knowledge of loan processing preferably in loan servicing.
Experience with FiServ Premier software is preferred.
Proficiencies in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio
