About the role
- Perform spreads of commercial financial statements and tax returns for borrowers, guarantors, and related entities
- Perform personal cash flow analysis using individual tax returns and personal financial statements
- Utilize credit-reporting services to compile reports relating to credit history
- Research and analyze financial data, prepare reports of financial position, and determine if additional information is needed for credit decisions
- Monitor the financial position of established accounts and notify loan officers of irregularities
- Provide analytical and loan decision support to Credit Administration staff and Relationship Managers
- Participate in special projects, community activities, and assist teammates to meet team objectives
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines
- Continuously update skills through professional training and cross-training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting recommended
- Finance/accounting related work experience of at least five years accepted in lieu of a college degree
- Knowledge of personal computer, Windows and Microsoft software applications
- Ability to remain seated or standing and work on a computer for a minimum of four (4) hours each workday
- Constant use of hands/fingers to enter data or answer a phone throughout an eight (8) hour shift
- Ability to hear and communicate with coworkers and customers throughout the day
- May need to lift up to 25 pounds one to two times a day
- Position may require regular before/after normal business hours and out-of-town travel
