Responsible for execution, support, and management within Consumer Credit Administration Division of first line risk under Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Serve as point-of-contact for Consumer lending and credit attestation examiners including Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Fair Lending, SOX/Internal Controls Risk, Segment Risk, and other risk functions.
Provide input for risk assessment and audit planning process.
Build strong relationships with Bank Management to address critical risk and control issues and add value as source of internal control and risk management best practices.
Provide guidance to Consumer Credit Administration Management as SME on regulatory and internal control requirements to support Director of Consumer Credit Risk.
Understand top and emerging risks and incorporate into risk management program.
Serve as primary contact for Risk Management and Internal Audit on matters relating to Consumer Credit Administration.
Support SouthState’s ERM Framework and compliance with Risk Appetite Statement.
Collaborate with Risk Management, Internal Audit, and other risk groups to improve risk management activities and oversight.
Develop partnerships with business units and stakeholders and maintain communications to gather risk data and confirm effectiveness of controls.
Provide oversight to ensure risks, controls and issues are captured in Governance Risk and Compliance system and addressed according to risk appetite.
Assist in creating and maintaining risk assessment process through Risk Registers and Bank Risk Assessments.
Develop and lead Business Process Risk Assessments, participate in new product/service initiatives to ensure risks are addressed.
Facilitate and support training on operational risk and risk mitigation standards.
Manage projects, identify significant control issues, and provide quality recommendations.
Support ongoing Credit Administration enhancements and review testing performed during attestations.
Assist with gathering information for regulatory exams or audits.
Assure confidential information is safeguarded.
Requirements
