About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for assessing spiritual needs, provides spiritual care and pastoral counseling to patients/families/employees.
  • Assesses, provides, and documents pastoral care to patients, families, and staff daily.
  • Works with area Ministers.
  • Proactively participates in inter-disciplinary delivery of holistic patient care services through rounding, inter-departmental meetings, and family conferences.
  • Maintains appropriate follow-up care with patient/families.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree and Clinical Pastoral Education expected
  • Licensed or Commissioned to Ministry by Church optional
  • Ordination optional
  • Endorsement by local church, diocese, or denomination within 2 years
  • 1 year of technical experience
