About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for assessing spiritual needs, provides spiritual care and pastoral counseling to patients/families/employees.
- Assesses, provides, and documents pastoral care to patients, families, and staff daily.
- Works with area Ministers.
- Proactively participates in inter-disciplinary delivery of holistic patient care services through rounding, inter-departmental meetings, and family conferences.
- Maintains appropriate follow-up care with patient/families.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree and Clinical Pastoral Education expected
- Licensed or Commissioned to Ministry by Church optional
- Ordination optional
- Endorsement by local church, diocese, or denomination within 2 years
- 1 year of technical experience
