About the role
- Responsible for assignment of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes for patient types as assigned.
- Maintains 95% coding accuracy in assignment of codes.
- Maintains coding productivity greater than 80% of the time.
- Abstracts all pertinent information into the abstract.
- Monitors Timely Filing and Unbilled reports for timely coding.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology
- RHIT, CCS, or CPC certification
- Technical Experience: N/A
