About the role
- The Web Developer/Coder will have primary responsibility for requirement gathering, design, build/configuration, testing, validation, and ongoing support of their assigned enterprise platform and integrations with other systems.
- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the software functionality and acquiring/utilizing knowledge of the operational workflows to be implemented with the web systems.
- Coordinate planning, design, development, implementation, adoption, communication, maintenance, and evaluation of existing or new functionality related to their assigned systems and related information systems.
- Manage projects related to their assigned systems and related third-party systems.
- Participates in on-call rotation including weekend and after-hours coverage as assigned.
- Provides web platform software development services and ongoing maintenance / technical support.
- Develops program logic for new application or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
- Gathers requirements, designs applications, and documents detailed specifications to maintain and support web platform applications and integrations.
- Validates and confirms new or changed functionalities to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Maintains system security ensuring patient and company confidentiality.
- Designs, builds, analyzes workflow and redesigns web platform applications.
- Analyzes requirements, maintains, tests, and integrates application components.
- Tests new and changed application functionalities.
- Demonstrates ability to organize and lead meetings effectively.
- May serve as project manager; coordinates and completes assigned projects including project definition, assignment of tasks, setting and maintaining deadlines.
- Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented by following best practices for coding and testing.
- Provides support to customers and coworkers for problems and issues reported through the IT Service Management system (ITSM).
- Liaises with customers, other IT staff and vendors for design, planning, implementation, and problem resolution.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest developments in information technology, especially healthcare systems in scope of role.
- Provides availability for "on-call" emergency solution support and other after-hours support duties as assigned by ITS Management.
- Sets and maintains goals, timelines, and commitments; trains and mentors team members; develops training materials for updated workflows.

Requirements
- Associate degree in Business or IT required or 2 years of IT or business experience
