About the role
- Provide leadership for facilities, inventory control, and warehouse management systems
- Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization
- Review financial statements and data and utilize data to improve profitability
- Prepare, control, and manage operational budgets
- Control total inventory management by ensuring the compliance of receiving and inventory control procedures
- Develop/recommend alterations to procedures and best practices as warranted
- Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals
- Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output
- Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures
- Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing, and distribution of goods
- Monitor warehouse performance and implement improvements
- Manage the quality and quantity of employee productivity
- Lead all building projects (i.e. warehouse systems, building/conveyor improvements)
- Provide MHE technical support and provide recommendations to maximize efficiencies
- Manage the maintenance of equipment and machinery
- Ensure safety compliance of all team members
- Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Experience with various ERP, CMMS, software systems
- Experience in wholesale or operational management or other related industries
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP system or similar system
