About the role
- Responsible for developing strategies and tactics to achieve customer objectives, KPIs, and targets
- Oversee and manage a team of Key Account Managers to ensure execution and delivery of objectives for strategic partners
- Responsible for sales, promotion, and marketing of brands
- Supervise the activities of assigned accounts to ensure maximum sales and profits
- Coach, direct, and counsel team members on overall performance
- Strategize with senior sales management to enhance contribution to sales goals
- Provide sales training, brand awareness, and development direction
- Establish a course of action to accomplish sales and specific goals/programming
- Present, educate, and ensure execution of monthly programs
- Conduct market surveys to determine and track competing brands and wholesalers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, results, and recommendations for market improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree and an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Seven years of industry related sales experience within the distribution, hospitality or supplier community
- Valid state motor vehicle operator s license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws
- Ability to work flexible hours which include early morning (i.e., 4:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. start times), evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work overnight travel as required
