Identify, attract, and engage top talent for various positions within the organization, ensuring a diverse and inclusive candidate pool.
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Manage the entire full-cycle recruitment process from job posting to onboarding, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
Provide an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, timely updates, and a professional, respectful approach.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
Strong sourcing abilities for a variety of roles, including non-exempt, exempt, and leadership positions.
Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
Proficient with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
A genuine commitment to the nonprofit mission and a desire to contribute to social change.
