About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide financial assistance by accumulating data, analyzing trends, and preparing analysis for business review
  • Coordinates and compiles the monthly and annual budgets
  • Provides deviation analysis of performance metrics
  • Gather data from various external sources as well as internal applications, programs, and processes to determine the factors affecting or expected to affect revenue, expense, and/or customer experience
  • Utilizes data to generate standard or custom reports summarizing energy efficiency program performance
  • Analyzes reports, identify exceptions requiring action, identifies opportunities for operational improvements, and offers solutions
  • Synthesizes current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action
  • Compiles and prepares information in response to data requests
  • Manage key vendor contracts and relationships
  • Responsible for regulatory report coordination and fulfillment
  • Manage internal process for loan program application approval
  • Partner with vendors and other state utilities regularly to manage dual fuel energy efficiency projects
  • Receive and log vendor invoices, and update vendor billing information as needed
  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience
  • Equivalent work may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work in a multi-tasked environment
  • Energy efficiency experience (preferred)
  • Utility experience (preferred)
  • PowerBI experience (preferred)
