About the role
- Prepare documents, calculations, and supporting information necessary to design and specify various elements of SJI projects
- Coordinate and collaborate on project design to assure reliability, functionality, compliance with all applicable codes and standards
- Work to project schedules and timely deliverables
- Prepare and assist in preparation of capital and operating facility estimates, performance reports and schedule updates
- Engage in onsite system evaluations and troubleshooting; develop corrective action plans and recommendations for improved operating performance
- Understand and apply safe work and design practices in all project activities
- Work closely with project managers on various projects and collaborate with the SJI REV team and actively participate in developing project standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field with 8 years of relevant experience, or; Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience with anaerobic digestion of varied wastes, wastewater and biogas processing
- Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project)
- Familiarity with construction management software, Procore a plus
- Ability to identify project issues early and implement corrective measures
- Excellent time and project management skills.
