About the role

  • Drive strategic selling of Sourcegraph products (Code Search and Amp) to enterprise customers
  • Build territory plans to penetrate net-new logo accounts and expand existing customers
  • Own customer relationships end-to-end as primary point of contact for engagement, account strategy, and growth
  • Execute complex deal strategies and manage full sales cycle to meet pipeline and revenue objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Legal, and Engineering to advance technically unique or complex deals
  • Identify champions, influencers, and key stakeholders; multi-thread with economic buyers
  • Use product analytics to prioritize opportunities, forecast, and capture deal progress
  • Provide product feedback and influence roadmap based on field insights
  • Lead enablement and define best practices for high-value enterprise sales in an AI-first market

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Proven ability to own customer relationships end-to-end, serving as the primary point of contact for engagement, account strategy, and growth
  • Methodical approach to executing complex deal strategies
  • Proven success selling to developers, engineering managers, and VPs of Engineering
  • Comfortable navigating a hybrid motion (product-led + top-down enterprise)
  • Excellent storytelling and discovery skills; ability to build trust and uncover pain
  • Strong understanding of developer tools, DevOps workflows, and AI trends
  • Proficient in using product analytics (e.g., Looker) to prioritize and forecast pipeline
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Expertise with security, licensing, and compliance requirements
  • Confident, curious, and able to demo product effectively
  • High agency: ownership of business and thrive in fast-moving, competitive space
  • Preferred location: located in the United States, specifically on the West Coast
