About the role
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and define learning objectives
- Develop engaging and effective learning content using a variety of methods, including eLearning, blended learning, and instructor-led training
- Create high-quality learning materials, including scripts, storyboards, visuals, and assessments
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Identify, engage, and manage expectations of key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Support the implementation and delivery of learning programs, including training instructors and providing technical support
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using appropriate methods, such as surveys, assessments, and performance data
- Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with subject matter experts, designers, developers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design
- Experience in a corporate setting is highly preferred
- Proven ability to leverage multiple instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, AGILE)
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles and learning theories
- Proficiency in creating various learning materials, including eLearning modules (Articulate Storyline, Lectora, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Learnworlds (highly preferred), Moodle, Canvas, or similar platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven approach to instructional design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
