About the role
- Manages acquiring data and supporting reporting functions for SLTCM’s operations and clinical teams which includes the gathering and submission of quality measures related to the MSSP.
- Provides training and educational materials to the ACO team as well as provider groups as it pertains to quality measures and quality reporting.
- Manages the process of extracting data from providers’ electronic medical records and ensures accuracy and timeliness for the process of reporting.
- This includes supporting Quality Director and others with vendor management and coordination of vendors for timely and efficient reporting of quality.
- Serve as the project lead in patient level chart review for performance.
- Reviews and analyzes all extracted data to determine accuracy, data specification compliance and executes communication and resolution if needed.
- Manage standard communication and education to promote improved quality reporting and data accuracy.
- Implement strategies to prepare the ACO for future changes to quality reporting including but not limited to eCQM preparation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field
- 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare quality management, population health, or value-based care programs, including 5 years in a people leadership role
- Experience with MSSP ACO or Medicare Advantage programs
- Knowledge of process improvement methodology
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Client service oriented with the ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels (e.g., patients, physicians, nursing facility staff, nursing facility administration and other colleagues)
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.
