About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own day-to-day bookkeeping and ledger accuracy in Odoo, ensuring transactions are correctly coded, classified, and mapped to the right accounts and cost centres.
Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Support month-end and year-end close through journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and supporting schedules.
Analyze financial data to flag anomalies, trends, or control gaps before they become issues.
Act as a key point of contact for external auditors by preparing schedules, responding to requests, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Procurement stakeholders to resolve financial queries and ensure accounting treatment reflects business reality.
Maintain and improve Odoo-based accounting workflows, identifying automation opportunities and tightening controls.
Support the Senior Accountant on financial reporting, ad hoc analysis, and process documentation.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant local regulatory and tax requirements, including ZATCA and VAT.

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or audit; audit/assurance background is a strong plus.
Sharp analytical skills and genuine attention to detail.
Hands-on experience with Odoo or a similar ERP and understanding of the underlying accounting logic.
Strong stakeholder management and clear, confident communication with internal teams, auditors, banks, and vendors.
Solid grounding in IFRS and practical month-end close experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Self-starter who takes ownership, moves fast, and maintains a high standard of accuracy.
