About the role

  • Supporting development teams by maintaining build services infrastructure
  • Enabling smooth creation of innovative videogames
  • Delivering quick, reliable builds for QA, reviewers, publishers, and stakeholders
  • Monitoring infrastructure and tracking build performance
  • Offering insights into results, from single runs to broader patterns
  • Supporting upkeep of build hardware and software setup
  • Developing useful tools, such as automated testing solutions
  • Collaborating with development teams and colleagues to gather insights on requirements and outline plans for DevOps practices

Requirements

  • Experience of CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in Jenkins and/or TeamCity, or similar CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Pipelines)
  • Strong Python skills
  • Bash scripting expertise
  • Solid Linux/Unix experience
  • macOS proficiency
  • Git usage via command line
  • Hands-on experience with Docker—creating and deploying containers
  • Knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus
  • Expertise in monitoring and alerting
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to discuss requirements, suggest enhancements, and share plans with cross-functional teams
  • Unity development experience (desirable)
  • Unreal Engine development experience (desirable)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (desirable)
  • Proficiency with Perforce (desirable)
  • Skills in optimising build times for game projects (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing systems (desirable)
  • Experience with Confluence or similar collaboration tools (desirable)
