About the role

  • Ensure build services infrastructure runs reliably to support game development
  • Maintain and monitor infrastructure, tracking build performance
  • Provide visibility into build outcomes and long-term trends
  • Take ownership of build hardware and software ecosystem
  • Influence and implement enhancements to systems
  • Leverage software skills to craft tools for automated testing and streamline workflows
  • Collaborate proactively with development teams to understand needs and prioritize improvements

Requirements

  • Experience of CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in Jenkins and/or TeamCity or similar CI/CD software (e.g., Azure DevOps Pipelines)
  • Strong Python skills
  • Bash scripting expertise
  • Solid Linux/Unix experience
  • macOS proficiency
  • Git usage via command line
  • Hands-on experience with Docker—creating and deploying containers
  • Knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus
  • Expertise in monitoring and alerting
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Unity development experience (desirable)
  • Unreal Engine development experience (desirable)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (desirable)
  • Proficiency with Perforce (desirable)
  • Skills in optimising build times for game projects (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing systems (desirable)
  • Experience with Confluence or similar collaboration tools (desirable)
