About the role
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with telecom carriers across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
- Work closely with telecom carrier partners to win new enterprise customers in Germany as well as in Switzerland and Austria for SOTI’s award-winning software technology.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between SOTI and telecom carrier partners, ensuring they are informed about product updates, pricing changes, campaigns, and more.
- Provide support through training, certification programs, and enablement resources to drive ongoing growth and capability development.
- Identify, secure, and establish relationships with new telecom carrier partners, while building, expanding, and maintaining strong networks within telecom carrier partners.
- Set appointments to present SOTI product benefits to prospects, conduct product demonstrations to technical and commercial decision makers, and make use of SOTI’s technical pre-sales resources whenever necessary.
- Manage the sales cycle completely, including not only acquisition and product demonstrations but also quoting, negotiating, and – most importantly – closing deals directly or together with a SOTI reseller.
- Manage and maintain the relationship to the new telecom carrier partners and their customers with the aim to grow the customer by selling additional SOTI products.
- Work closely together with the technical pre-sales team to make sure the prospect can test the SOTI solution the best possible way.
- Track and weekly review lead, pipeline progression, and forecast in SOTI’s CRM system.
- Regular onsite visits to partner locations across the region are required, along with regional travel.
- Additional travel to EMEA headquarters, global headquarters, and various events across EMEA may also be necessary.
- Conduct regular business reviews with telecom carrier partners to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and address challenges.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3–5 years) in partner management, channel sales, or business development within the telecom.
- Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies with carriers or large telecom partners.
- You enjoy contact with corporate customers.
- You like to present, can think about project scenarios and in the course of the process work out advantages for your customers with regard to the solution you market, and bring the project to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong partner and customer relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive mutual success.
- Previous experience working with Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics, sales pipelines, and enablement strategies.
- A collaborative, results-driven mindset with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Knowledge of enterprise mobility management or knowledge of mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, handhelds, etc. would be a plus.
- Fluent English and German are required.
