About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contract Management: Draft, review and negotiate commercial and operational contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and mitigation of legal risks.
- Support the standardization of contracts and clauses, following the company's legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Litigation and Consumer Defense: Monitor and manage judicial and administrative proceedings (individual and mass actions), controlling deadlines, documents and interaction with external law firms.
- Prepare and handle responses to consumer protection bodies (Procon, Senacon, Consumidor.gov), focusing on dispute prevention and preservation of the company's reputation.
- Regulation and Compliance: Monitor sectoral regulations, especially those related to the betting market, advertising and data protection.
- Support the adjustment of internal processes to applicable rules (Law No. 14.790/23, LGPD, Consumer Defense Code (CDC), CONAR and related regulations).
- Develop and update institutional documents, such as Terms and Conditions, internal policies and legal guidelines.
- Advisory and Risk Mitigation: Act in a consultative capacity with CS, Product, Technology, Marketing, Finance and other areas, providing practical legal guidance aligned with the business.
- Support the management of legal risks and the preparation of responses to sensitive situations, under the guidance of legal leadership when applicable.
- Governance and Documentation: Produce legal reports, litigation data consolidation, indicators (KPIs) and status updates on requests.
- Keep legal controls, records and documentation organized and up to date.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree with active registration with the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association).
- Experience in contract law, consumer law, civil law, corporate law, digital law and advertising (CONAR).
- Preferred: Knowledge of legislation and regulation of the betting sector in Brazil (Law No. 14.790/23, SPA/MF ordinances and related rules).
- Experience in managing litigation and working with external law firms.
- Advanced English.
