About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce and check calculations of members’ benefits using automated calculation routines
- Prepare and check standard explanatory letters
- Resolve pension-related queries by phone, live chat, and email
- Work with other teams to resolve queries in a timely manner
- Escalate complex cases or complaints to a senior administrator or SME
- Ensure the accuracy of pension administration records in the Compendia administration system
- Manage pension contribution adjustments, including agreeing and administering recovery plans
- Collate and analyse data and prepare reports for senior team members
- Work with the payroll team and Client’s reward team as required

- Knowledge of Police Pension Schemes, Civil Service Pension Schemes, or other public-sector defined-benefit schemes is desirable
- Payroll or pension administration experience is desirable
- Experience analysing and interpreting complex data is desirable
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills are desirable
- Security Clearance Level: NPPV2
