About the role
- Monitor and manage material inventory levels to support production planning and avoid stockouts or overstock
- Responsible for all inventory levels to support production and assembly
- Maintain accurate records of material transactions, stock movement and inventory within the ERP
- Collaborate on material planning activities: forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment strategies
- Track delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time material availability
- Identify and escalate potential supply chain disruptions or delays
- Communicate monthly KPIs within the supply chain team
- Participate in physical inventory counts
- Report to the Senior Director, Supply Chain and support production planning during maternity leave
- Hybrid collaboration with colleagues in Rolle corporate office (2 days per week home working; should be able to commute 3x/week)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year working experience within Materials Management (internships/trainee considered)
- Direct working experience with ERP/MRP systems (essential)
- Strong competency in MS Excel
- Additional experience across other supply chain verticals and knowledge of order-to-cash process (valuable)
- Understanding of the bill of material concept (highly valuable)
- Highly analytical and methodical mindset
- Full fluency in English (required)
- Ability to comfortably commute to Rolle, Switzerland at least 3x per week
- Availability for a contract until March/April 2026 to cover maternity leave
