About the role

  • Support F&I sales efforts with customized reporting, program insights, and dealer-level recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal partners in Sales, Operations, and Risk to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting tools.
  • Prepare clear and actionable reports and presentations for senior leadership and field teams.
  • Assist in cross functional projects that enhance dealer engagement and sales performance.
  • Respond to field inquiries and support alignment between product offerings and dealer needs.
  • Analyze premium, claims, and operational data to support risk assessment, pricing, and profitability strategies.
  • Assist in the development, launch, and refinement of Sonsio’s F&I products through performance analysis and market research.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to evaluate trends, pricing strategies, and product positioning.
  • Translate large datasets into actionable insights that support better decision-making.
  • Learn and apply pricing, actuarial, and product development methods to support internal recommendations.
  • Support pricing strategy through rate development, claim forecasting, and profitability modeling at the contract, dealer, and program level.
  • Monitor performance of new and existing programs, flagging risks or trends as needed.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects that support overall risk and product objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, product management, or a related role, ideally within the automotive or F&I sector.
  • Bachelor or Associates degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Automotive Management, or a related field — or equivalent work experience in the automotive, insurance, or F&I industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of F&I products and industry practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Experience with SQL required.
  • Familiarity with at least one statistical or programming language preferred (e.g., VBA, Python, R, SAS).
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
