About the role
- Coordinate and supervise training processes for new Account Specialists and provide on-going training for existing personnel.
- Bi-weekly territory performance review.
- Supervise Account Specialists utilization of CRM and sales tools and recommends opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct bi-monthly 1:1 coaching meeting with each member of their team.
- Recommend opportunities for improvement of inside sales technique or approach based on observations.
- Perform direct customer follow-up (including both verbal and written responses) on all difficult or unusual customer care issues.
- Be liaison for Account Specialists with the Regional Directors.
- Assure weekly meetings with Account Specialist and Account Manager.
- Manage Vendor Registration.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Further education in Supply Chain Management / Demand Planning a plus
- 5+ years experience in a direct sales capacity, preferably in within the hearing industry
- Previous supervisory experience and/or training in supervision preferred
- Effective verbal and written English communication and compelling sales skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a keen customer- and team-orientation
- Must be good at building and maintaining relationships, and be able to lead by example
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability and commitment to follow up
- Excellent analytical and proactive problem solving skills, with an ability to make sales and supervisory decisions based on customer needs and company policies
- Self-starter, with a proven track record in sales
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite and a strong technical aptitude
- A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
