About the role

  • Coordinate and supervise training processes for new Account Specialists and provide on-going training for existing personnel.
  • Bi-weekly territory performance review.
  • Supervise Account Specialists utilization of CRM and sales tools and recommends opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct bi-monthly 1:1 coaching meeting with each member of their team.
  • Recommend opportunities for improvement of inside sales technique or approach based on observations.
  • Perform direct customer follow-up (including both verbal and written responses) on all difficult or unusual customer care issues.
  • Be liaison for Account Specialists with the Regional Directors.
  • Assure weekly meetings with Account Specialist and Account Manager.
  • Manage Vendor Registration.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Further education in Supply Chain Management / Demand Planning a plus
  • 5+ years experience in a direct sales capacity, preferably in within the hearing industry
  • Previous supervisory experience and/or training in supervision preferred
  • Effective verbal and written English communication and compelling sales skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a keen customer- and team-orientation
  • Must be good at building and maintaining relationships, and be able to lead by example
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability and commitment to follow up
  • Excellent analytical and proactive problem solving skills, with an ability to make sales and supervisory decisions based on customer needs and company policies
  • Self-starter, with a proven track record in sales
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite and a strong technical aptitude
  • A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
