About the role
- Define serviceability and repairability requirements for new audio products
- Influence product architecture through service-oriented design reviews
- Translate service needs into requirements and acceptance criteria within PLM tools
- Plan and execute service verifications across EVT/DVT/MVT builds
- Prepare specifications, order equipment and approve/release test software
- Provide technical content for service manuals, troubleshooting guides, exploded-view drawings and training materials
- Support final release activities and ensure service availability in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Service Engineering, NPI or Test Engineering within consumer electronics, with a focus on developing and validating serviceability
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings; basic software skills
- Hands-on experience with test instrumentation
- Experience with audio test systems (APx, GRAS/B&K, IEC ear simulators) and/or knowledge of Bluetooth/BLE, Wi‑Fi, USB‑C, DSP/ANC and mobile app/OTA workflows is an advantage
- Background in consumer audio or comparable consumer electronics is a plus
- Fluent English (good German skills are an advantage)
