About the role
- Design end-to-end mobile experiences for iOS and Android
- Turn complex technical and hardware requirements into simple, elegant user experiences
- Create engaging interfaces for sound personalization such as EQs, ANC, sound profiles, and user preferences
- Design seamless onboarding, device pairing, and firmware update flows
- Conduct user research and usability testing to continuously refine and elevate the experience
- Build interactive prototypes and evolve design systems
- Collaborate closely with developers during implementation and QA
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally in consumer electronics, lifestyle brands, or app-hardware ecosystems
- A strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design for iOS and Android
- Solid understanding of Bluetooth connectivity, device pairing, permissions, and dynamic device states
- Experience designing audio-related interfaces or strong passion for sound and music
- Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Deep understanding of mobile design guidelines (Apple HIG, Material Design)
- Fluent in English; German or additional languages are a plus
