About the role

  • Design, develop, and optimize PCB solutions for charger platforms used in Sonova hearing solutions
  • Create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, and component libraries
  • Define sustainable BOMs, qualify components, and prepare manufacturing and assembly data
  • Evaluate, test, debug, and validate analog and digital hardware against system requirements
  • Coordinate prototype builds and test setups with manufacturing partners
  • Collaborate with System & Electronics Engineering for product improvement
  • Document design and test activities, support compliance and audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronic circuit design, prototyping, testing, and debugging
  • Strong proficiency in PCB design, preferably using Altium Designer
  • Practical experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, impedance analyzers, signal generators, battery simulators, and SMUs
  • Programming experience or familiarity with C/C++, Python, or MATLAB
  • Knowledge of low-power PCB layout techniques and electrical safety standards for medical devices
  • Familiarity with modern development tools such as GitHub, VS Code, Jira, and Confluence
  • German language skills are a plus
  • Self-motivated and quality-oriented team player
