About the role

  • Initiate, plan, and coordinate all training and cross-training activities for Operations employees
  • Organize and deliver training and onboarding for new hires
  • Develop and coordinate training programs for product launches and new process implementations
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure operational readiness
  • Maintain training documentation and records in validated systems such as SmartSolve, LMS, or similar platforms
  • Create and maintain training materials, work instructions, and supporting documentation
  • Conduct ISO compliance audits related to job certifications and operational processes
  • Participate in Non-Conformance (NC) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, including documentation and follow-ups
  • Conduct production floor tours and provide training-related administrative support
  • Collaborate closely with management to plan, deliver, and evaluate training needs and results
  • Support and manage projects as assigned, ensuring compliance and alignment with ISO standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college diploma preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a trainer or in a related support role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication; able to adapt to cultural differences
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Creative problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT knowledge
  • Knowledge of graphic design software and ability to create work instructions is an asset
  • Previous hearing aid assembly experience is an advantage
  • A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
