About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop a global Indirect Procurement organization.
- Create and drive global Indirect Procurement strategy.
- Work cross-functionally and serve as a strategic business partner to executive and functional stakeholders.
- Oversee the Indirect Procurement technology roadmap, driving the implementation and optimization of digital tools and systems.
- Achieve measurable year-over-year cost savings and efficiency improvements across all indirect spend categories.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Develop innovative approaches to sourcing using data, analytics and processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years’ experience in sourcing/procurement/contracting including 5+ years of experience managing a high-performing global or regional team.
- Knowledge of a broad set of indirect procurement categories including IT services, software contracts and marketing-related services.
- Preferred Qualifications Strategic Thinking & Planning.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and implement process change while balancing business profitability and stakeholder needs.
- Procurement Transformation Leadership – Proven experience leading procurement transformation initiatives, including change management, digital tool implementation, or centralized procurement models.
- Data-Driven Procurement – Strong proficiency in leveraging data analytics tools and dashboards to drive procurement decisions and supplier performance evaluation.
- Domain Expertise - Proven ability to leverage deep domain expertise to execute complex commercial terms, vendor management, and negotiation strategies.
- Best Practices - Expertise in sourcing and procurement principles and best practices. Deep understanding of commercial terms, vendor management and negotiation strategy.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) preferred, or an equivalent credential demonstrating advanced knowledge in strategic sourcing and procurement.
