About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You automate and enhance operational processes for the virtual power plant, such as integrating decentralized assets into our VPPs and managing asset incidents.
You analyze quantitative data to continuously optimize the operational efficiency of the systems.
You support the prequalification of battery systems for providing reserve/ancillary services.
You conduct and evaluate system test runs.
You monitor and report KPIs for service level agreements with business customers.
You work closely with developers and other departments such as Customer Service, Trading Desk, and Business Steering, as well as external service providers and partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You hold a degree in (industrial) engineering, (business) computer science, or a comparable technical qualification.
You have at least 1–2 years of professional experience in a technical or data-driven environment.
You have experience building, optimizing, and scaling operational processes.
You possess strong analytical skills as well as programming knowledge in Python and experience with databases.
You work in a structured, pragmatic, and team-oriented manner and communicate confidently in German and English.
