About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service
- Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages
- Collect and prepare non-blood specimens
- Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
- Maintain strict confidentiality and follow applicable privacy and security standards when accessing Protected Health Information
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy training or experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Routine access to Protected Health Information requires strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy and security standards
- 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing (bonus)
- Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (bonus)
