About the role

  • Develop new and enhance existing web-based innovative software solutions for the healthcare (human medicine) sector
  • Requirements and system analysis, software design, implementation and further development of software products within the team based on Clean Code and Domain-Driven Design
  • Evaluate new technologies and prototype solution approaches
  • Testing and support for the support team, and assistance during rollout
  • Support the support team with complex troubleshooting (3rd-level support)
  • Mentor less experienced team members

Requirements

  • Technical IT-related education and/or degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • Several years of solid experience developing with Kotlin
  • Experience with RocksDB, PostgreSQL, Keycloak, and AI tools is desirable
  • Familiarity with common development tools (Jenkins, IntelliJ, Gradle)
  • Independent development of web applications with a strong focus on quality
  • Methodical, goal-oriented working style, analytical skills, high willingness to learn, and strong team orientation
  • Very good German and English language skills
