About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and monitor orchestration and scheduling tools, with a focus on Automic UC4
- Design, create, maintain, schedule, and support complex production jobs and routines
- Monitor the environment and diagnose failures (abends), reducing alerts
- Mitigate exceeded execution times (maxruntime)
- Introduce new routines into production via Change Requests (GMUD)
- Ensure proper validation and approval of changes with requestors
- Analyze and measure the impact of jobs on the environment
- Develop action plans for anomalies and propose technical improvements
- Prepare, plan, and coordinate critical activities during maintenance windows, scheduled outages, and Disaster Recovery tests
- Ensure process compliance with business rules
- Support internal and external audits, including SOX controls
- Monitor SLA metrics for support queues
- Map, update, and document production routines and environment administration procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in IT
- Experience with Automic
- Advanced proficiency in Shell scripting and UC4 scripting/logic
- Intermediate knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
- Experience with ITSM tools
