About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform on-site technical service visits, traveling to client locations
- Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance, installation, configuration and relocation of multifunction printers and equipment from various manufacturers
- Provide general PC/microcomputer support and Remote Hands support when necessary
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and system failures
- Ensure compliance with SLA targets for ticket response and resolution
- Update the status of service requests with the team responsible for ticket management
- Record all activities performed, including technical reports, photographic evidence and client validation of the completed service
- Manage, inventory and control spare parts, backup equipment and materials under your responsibility
- Request replacement parts, perform reverse logistics and track equipment repairs
- Escalate to N3 support teams when required, providing technical evidence for analysis and component replacement
- Participate in technical training provided by the company
- Operate in accordance with SONDA’s safety standards, operational procedures and internal policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical education in IT, Technology or related fields
- Experience providing field technical support
- Experience with installation, configuration, maintenance and repair of equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, IT and networking fundamentals
- Experience with on-site user support
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and/or system issues
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams and technical documentation
- Experience preparing technical reports and service orders
- Good communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relationships
- Valid and definitive driver’s license, category B or higher (required)
- Availability for frequent travel and on-site assignments (required)
