About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, design, install, and maintain structured cabling infrastructure.
Perform installation and maintenance of twisted pair cabling, fiber optics, and smart/intelligent patch cords.
Make connections, disconnections, and perform maintenance on cross-connects.
Install and organize racks, patch panels, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Install and replace network assets such as switches, routers, and load balancers.
Support activation of circuits and communication equipment.
Provide first-level technical support to users and clients.
Log service calls and follow up on tickets.
Identify infrastructure issues and assist in incident resolution.
Work collaboratively with technical teams to ensure service continuity.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Knowledge of structured cabling.
Twisted pair cabling.
Fiber optics.
Smart/intelligent patch cords.
Cross-connects.
Switch installation.
Router installation.
Load balancers.
Basic communication protocols.
Physical network infrastructure.
Organizational skills.
Teamwork.
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail.

Data center experience (preferred).
Furukawa, Panduit or equivalent certification (preferred).
