About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, design, install, and maintain structured cabling infrastructure.
- Perform installation and maintenance of twisted pair cabling, fiber optics, and smart/intelligent patch cords.
- Make connections, disconnections, and perform maintenance on cross-connects.
- Install and organize racks, patch panels, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Install and replace network assets such as switches, routers, and load balancers.
- Support activation of circuits and communication equipment.
- Provide first-level technical support to users and clients.
- Log service calls and follow up on tickets.
- Identify infrastructure issues and assist in incident resolution.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to ensure service continuity.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of structured cabling.
- Twisted pair cabling.
- Fiber optics.
- Smart/intelligent patch cords.
- Cross-connects.
- Switch installation.
- Router installation.
- Load balancers.
- Basic communication protocols.
- Physical network infrastructure.
- Organizational skills.

- Data center experience (preferred).
