About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintenance and support of microcomputer hardware and software: desktops, laptops, servers.
  • Experience servicing thermal printers, including Zebra models.
  • Proficiency with Windows 10, system formatting/image deployment, and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of client-server networks, structured cabling for organization, diagnosis, and maintenance; basic knowledge of routers and switches for remote-hands tasks.
  • Experience providing on-site end-user support (field service).
  • Field experience, preferably in retail or commercial automation environments.
  • Familiarity with service routines aimed at meeting SLAs.
  • Ability to manage a kit/parts inventory and backups.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum: completed technical high school diploma in IT or related fields.
  • Higher education in Technology preferred or in progress.
  • Valid driver's license and personal car for travel (mileage reimbursed); motorcycles are not accepted.
  • Minimum physical space of 1.5 m² at home for storing parts and equipment.
  • Availability to work a 12x36 daytime shift schedule with possible on-call duties outside regular hours.
  • Reside in or near downtown Rio de Janeiro (preferably within a 10 km radius).
