About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform on-site technical service calls, traveling to client sites;
- Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance, installation, configuration, and relocation of multifunction printers and equipment from various manufacturers;
- Provide general PC/IT support and Remote Hands assistance when required;
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and system faults;
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution of tickets;
- Update the status of service calls with the team responsible for ticket management;
- Record all activities performed, including technical reports, photographic evidence, and client confirmation of the work performed;
- Control, inventory, and manage spare parts, backup equipment, and materials under your responsibility;
- Request part replacements, perform reverse logistics, and follow up on equipment repairs;
- Escalate to N3 support teams when necessary, providing technical evidence for analysis and component replacement;
- Participate in technical training provided by the company;
- Operate in accordance with SONDA's safety standards, operational procedures, and internal policies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical education in IT, Technology, or related fields;
- Experience providing on-site field technical support;
- Experience with installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of equipment;
- Basic knowledge of electrical/electronics, computing, and networking fundamentals;
- Experience in direct, in-person user support;
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and/or system faults;
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and technical documentation;
- Experience preparing technical reports and service orders;
- Good communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal relationships;
- Valid, permanent Class B (or equivalent) driver's license (mandatory);
- Availability for frequent travel and travel between sites (mandatory).
