About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Mainframe storage administration;
Perform data migrations between mainframe storage systems;
Define rules for dataset allocation in an SMS environment;
Customize and administer DFSMS/HSM software;
Customize and administer a virtualized backup environment (Hydra);
Customize and operate MainView/SRM software;
Maintain ACS routines for SMS;
Maintain SMS and non-SMS disk pools;
Perform performance analysis (RMF, EREP)
