About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer, monitor, and optimize Oracle and SQL Server environments
Perform application performance analysis, identifying bottlenecks between the application and the database
Perform end-to-end troubleshooting (application + database), including analysis of logs, queries and integrations
Support development teams in optimizing queries, stored procedures and data modeling
Ensure high availability, data integrity, and data security
Respond to critical incidents with fast and accurate diagnosis
Participate in continuous improvement, automation and environment evolution projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server
Experience analyzing and optimizing queries originating from .NET applications (C# / WCF)
Ability to read and understand C# code to support troubleshooting
Experience with stored procedures, functions and data modeling for enterprise systems
Knowledge of application log analysis and correlating logs with database events
Experience troubleshooting integrations (especially WCF services)
Ability to understand application behavior in database consumption
Comfortable working alongside developers (debugging, query analysis, performance improvements)
Investigative mindset for analyzing complex incidents (full stack: application + database)
Good communication skills with technical and functional teams
Desired: Previous experience with SONDA systems or similar environments; experience supporting tax/fiscal systems or ERPs; experience with query profiling in .NET applications; knowledge of distributed application architecture; fluent English.
